We ask that you provide an artist statement and bio as well as 3 images of your artwork. To facilitate the submission process, we created the form below. However, you may also email this information to submissions@kolajmagazine.com.

1) Artist Bio
(approximately 50-250 words)
An artist bio is a brief, narrative description of your professional career as an artist. In addition to describing what sort of work you make, it should outline your major accomplishments. These may include (in narrative form) exhibitions, commissions, awards or acknowledgments, and educational or training history. You may also want to include where you are from or live. The artist bio will be printed verbatim on your static page. Do not simply post your resume.
2) Artist Statement
(approximately 50-250 words) An artist statement is a brief, narrative description of your artwork. It describes both your technical (materials and technique you use to make the art) and conceptual approach (the ideas or emotions you use to create the art). The artist statement will be printed verbatim on your static page.
Images
JPEGs are preferred. Images should be a minimum 600 pixels wide.
We ask that you submit no less than three images and no more than five images.
You may email images in separate emails, but include your First and Last Name in the email and put “Artist Directory” in the subject line.
The caption information for each image should include the following:

Title of Artwork
Materials
Year Completed
Dimensions
