Beth Richardson STATEMENT “I seek to retain nostalgia and history by preserving bits of the past. I have collaged my grandfather’s WWI letters, ancestory photos, brooches and laces into one of a kind journals. I’ve also branched out to include French Erotica, Steampunk and Vintage Pin-up in my collection of collaged diaries. ” BIO “What started as an evening collage class soon became an obsession for me. Now every square inch of my office is devoted to journaling. Ribbons, brooches, and pictures cover the area. I have been creating altered journals for nearly three years now. Several Christmas ago, I made all my family, relatives, and friends journals utilizing family photos, ancestry brooches and old letters. Now I am obsessed with creating vintage pin-up journals—such as my Bettie Page and Elgren lines featured on Etsy.
