STATEMENT

As a writer and visual artist, Camilla Gibb is interested in narrative possibilities. Her work points toward the natural world, often casting the human as the disruptor, and explores relationships between species and the environment.

She works with analog collage, mixed media, photography, text, ink and botanicals.

BIO

Camilla Gibb is an award-winning writer who is increasingly turning to collage as her preferred storytelling medium. Her collages have been published in various Canadian publications including The Globe and Mail, Brick Magazine, Taddle Creek Magazine and The Quarantine Review. Her work was included in the John B. Aird’s Gallery’s 2021 Collage Exhibition.
