STATEMENT

I have been practicing collage for as long as I can remember. My recent work plays with my educational background in psychology, exploring the intersections between individuals and the spaces they inhabit, both within and without. The process I undertake lends special attention to color, shape and feeling in the hopes of eliciting a sincere emotional reaction from the viewer.

Christine Vilutis is a collage artist and mental health care worker living in Chicago, Illinois. She holds an M.A. in Clinical Psychology and utilizes her educational training in the creation of her collage art. Christine has participated in numerous shows and exhibitions throughout the Chicago area.
