STATEMENT

It has been said that my work is both passionate and dispassionate, grey yet technicolor, distant yet immediate, ghostly and palpable, grainy, textured, and focused. Playful but noble. Cartoonish and child-like, but unafraid of adult themes and the subconscious. Dream-like to many, haunting to some, these conceptual contradictions are an extraordinary balancing act. Grayscale and bright, saturated colors collide head-on with bubblegum pastels. Humor is coupled in equal measure with pure anxiety. A sense that you can never get enough of whatever it is that’s out there.

BIO

I am self taught primarily through experimentation and magic in the field of collage and minimal abstractions. I have no interest in the last thing I did. I look only towards the future and what it holds for me artistically. Accolades and mentions for past accomplishments are forgotten as quickly as yesterday’s news. I am constantly looking for the next thing to quench my artistic thirst.
