David Hoskins STATEMENT Inspired by artists like Frank Moth, Beth Hoeckel, and Karen Lynch, I enjoy combining elements from vintage magazines, postcards, and newspapers to create a new landscape. At first, my creations were chaotic and random. Over time, however, I sought to infuse messages and meaning into my collages whenever possible. Combining two or more images to work together and form one single idea or theme became the target. BIO David Hoskins is a newcomer to the world of collage. Working as a motion graphics artist in Pennsylvania, USA, his first collage creations were born out of free-time during a slow January 2017. Spurred by various album covers and fellow artists he was following, an itch started to form in him to play with image combinations and see what he could come up with.
