Absurdity and humour interplay in my Collages. An obtuse narrative is formed, which in turn becomes a psychotic, nonsensical and sometimes comic reality. I create a whole backlit universe for lost, deluded and infantilized characters to exist in. The images are presented in a seemingly careless way, having been stripped of their original context in order to form a new purpose. Low quality resolution and pixilation adds to the distortion and becomes at times painterly, adding to the calculated incoherence of the resulting artworks.
