Greet Weitenberg STATEMENT Greet Weitenberg works in different themes: rhythm, light and shadow, people, and still life. The characters that appear in Weitenberg’s collages have suddenly been stopped. You can feel the tension and the void, and are sucked into alienating scenes that put you on guard. The characters play a game with the world behind them, a world of rhythm, light and shadow. In the still lifes we see huge bouquets of flowers, which are bright, lively and colourful but, at the same time, they reflect the transience of life. BIO Greet Weitenberg creates contemporary collage art and mosaic art.
