My work deals with the challenge of spirits that are explosive, transformational, and boundary-less in the face of nature and its descendants. Each piece functions much like the Magician archetype of the tarot, in that a central figure acts as an intermediary between the spirit world and the terrestrial plane. Often these scenes will contain psychopomps, or animals dedicated to guiding the those in search of the next step of their journey.
