STATEMENT

Floating landmasses, mysterious voids, tranquil pools, and concentric rings inhabit my paintings, creating an emotional landscape. I’m interested in channeling my own energy into a language of colors, forms, and textures. Through the use of a vivid palette, varied surfaces, and collaged materials, I’ve created internal landscapes that document my own struggles, reactions, and releases from the outside world. My creative process is largely intuitive and flows much like a conversation with a series of actions and reactions. The resulting imagery draws upon universal patterns in nature, exploration of the unknown, and discovery of a balance between oneself and the rest of the world.
