STATEMENT

Through collage, I take obvious pleasure in expressing my various worldviews using a surreal prism to play with close-ups, which I particularly like. My visions sometimes lead me to present portraits, but also stories–funny, outlandish, funny, absurd, and poetic–that show humanity in its diversity and complexity.

BIO

Born in 1962 in Bühl-Baden, West Germany, my life path led me to becoming a freelance graphic designer, to co-creating Petits Papiers, to teach myself the art of photography, and establish the Aquarium Comic Book workshop in Toulouse. I have been living and working in Paris since August 2015.

Bubbles, comics, Petits Papiers, photography: these concepts are associated with manual labour and there is a link between them: collage! In 2015, I was part of exhibitions in Pins-Justeret and Toulouse (“Almanac” and “Ombres Blanches”)
