STATEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

Greet Weitenberg works in different themes: rhythm, light and shadow, people, and still life. The characters that appear in Weitenberg\u2019s collages have suddenly been stopped. You can feel the tension and the void, and are sucked into alienating scenes that put you on guard. The characters play a game with the world behind them, a world of rhythm, light and shadow. In the still lifes we see huge bouquets of flowers, which are bright, lively and colourful but, at the same time, they reflect the transience of life.<\/p>\n

Greet Weitenberg creates contemporary collage art and mosaic art. Her award-winning art is exhibited in The Netherlands and abroad, and her work can be found both in private and public collections.<\/p>\n
