STATEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

Exiled to the wilderness of nonconformity, I have found comfort some place between Zen and the professionally weird. A paper-headed pajama-clad raconteur translating observations and reactions with graphic pun and insinuation, my work continues to venture into the absurdities of socio-political, philosophical and psychoanalytical themes.<\/p>\n

BIO<\/strong><\/p>\n

Terri Lloyd is a San Francisco Bay Area transplant who has called Los Angeles home since 1980.\u2028\u2028 Under the influence of a 1960s latch-key-kid youth, the circumstances of a working class life did not provide the conventional means to an art education or experience.<\/p>\n

Introduced to the Apple computer in the 1980s, a love affair with digital technology was born.<\/p>\n

From design and illustration, to cut and paste memes, Terri\u2019s work has been described as \u201crenegade, disruptive, transgressive and under it’s colorful demeanor, subversive\u2026it has a kind of ‘pop’ feel on the surface, but deals with issues pop never went.\u201d<\/p>\n

Terri has exhibited her art in many group and juried exhibitions across the U.S. and Europe.<\/p>\n

Her work has been featured in a variety of both online and print publications and catalogs, including The Black Scat Review<\/em>, The Little Red Book of Commie Porn<\/em>, Baku Magazine<\/em>, KCET Departures<\/em>, and The Huffington Post<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Terri can be found somewhere in Los Angeles living with a very patient husband, a small and unruly herd of cats and one very naughty macaw. When not working in the studio, Terri runs The Haggus Society, a feminist art collective for women over the age of 40.<\/p>\n
