STATEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

Currently I am working with vintage and found images. I gather my materials and allow Serendipity and the Muse to play. Each artistic mark is a variance in language. My practice also includes drawing, sewing, acrylic and oil painting. Making art is engrossing and stimulating, adding meaning to the daily business of living.<\/p>\n

BIO<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mara Thompson lives and works in Southern California. She exhibits her mixed media works in group shows and is a member of Women Painters West and Collage Artists of America. Through social media and the US Postal Service she collaborates on digital art projects and participates in mail art exhibitions.<\/p>\n
