STATEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

I use a lot of sellotape to tear the pictures out of the magazines. The paper\/ink that sticks to the tape I use to build my collages. Sometimes more than 20 rolls per work.<\/p>\n

BIO<\/strong><\/p>\n

Peter Boersma (1974) studied at the Minerva Academy of Art in Groningen, The Netherlands. He finds his inspiration in old documents, weathered books and magazines from the past. Besides making collages with his original and unique scotch tape technique he also makes collages on the sewing machine.<\/p>\n
