STATEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ashley Parker Owens’ micro-visual poems are only one or a few words combined with an image. The words or phrases are vague, so the viewer can explore multiple meanings, kind of like a Rorschach test, or a writers\u2019 prompt.<\/p>\n

The digital paintings are created in ArtWeaver and Zoner Photo Pro. All parts of the image come from the public domain.<\/p>\n

BIO<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ashley Parker Owens is a writer, poet, and artist living in Richmond, Kentucky. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from Eastern Kentucky University, and an MFA in Visual Arts from Rutgers University.<\/p>\n
