STATEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

Everything put together sooner or later falls apart. I start with the fallen apart and…reconstructing when a cohesion or visual harmony presents itself–re-create.<\/p>\n

My collages are made from my own black and white, silver gelatin photographs and negatives.<\/p>\n

BIO<\/strong><\/p>\n

Patrick Lears was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland–home to crooks, criminals and the slightly strange.<\/p>\n

Lears has lived and worked in London since 1999.<\/p>\n

Exhibiting since 1987, Lears currently is in group shows at Pictorem Gallery in London and Linden Hall Studio in Deal, Kent.<\/p>\n
