STATEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I portray women with their thoughts, emotions and their stories. I create these women, these canvasses, in order to show and reassure women, that no matter how turbulent our past has been, it is always steppingstones in the right direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These artworks reflect emotions, lessons learned, scars and lives lived, and my intention is to inspire women to live their lives to the fullest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BIO<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My name is Gitte Lykke (previously Lacarriere), I am a Danish artist creating original mixed media art under the name MANGT.

I create original collageart on canvas and paper from sustainable materials, with paper being the main material. Originally I have a BA in Interior Design & technology with Fine Arts which I gained in London in 2000, since then I have been self-employed as an interior designer, stylist and designer. My artistic journey began in 2016, and as self-taught artist I work from my studio, Mangt Moodstore, in N\u00f8rresundby, Denmark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
