STATEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

New York born, Japan based artist, Craig Anczelowitz seamlessly merges traditional fine art, design and craft traditions in his allegorical collage works. His pieces, often constructed of Japanese ephemera and washi paper reflect Craig’s cross-cultural “East-meets-West” aesthetic; drawing parallels between the 2 cultures he personally and creatively navigates each day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BIO<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Born in New York City in 1966. MFA 1991 (Printmaking\/Papermaking). Currently living in Hyogo, Japan. A career of 30+ years creating and exhibiting art and design works in multiple mediums. Numerous international speaking engagements, workshops and lectures as well as art\/design awards from European, Asian and American institutions. Urban spelunker and dog lover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
