This 56 page full color book is filled with hand-cut heart collages, word collage, poetry, love song lyrics, found imagery, and drawings. Marc Alain was born in rural northern New Jersey and holds a BFA in Photography from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. After relocating to New York City, he directed several music videos for the band Menage-a-Trois, and managed the photographer Ryan McGinley’s Manhattan studio for over a decade. Recently, Alain had a virtual exhibition of his analog collages entitled “The Birds & The Bees” released through Lucien Smith’s Serving the People initiative.
