Meaning to Glue: A Collage Invitational<\/em> is an exhibition catalogue featuring profiles of the eleven artists that were part of “Meaning to Glue”, held at the Nightingale Gallery, Eastern Oregon University, 13 January-3 February 2012. The catalogue is introduced with an essay by collagist and Nightingale Gallery curator, Cory W. Peeke. The lineup includes Oregon collagists Ian Clark and Tsilli Pines, internationally recognized artists Andy DuCett, Fred Free, James Gallagher, John Hundt, David King, Hope Kroll and Michael Pfleghaar, as well as relative newcomers Robert McKeown and Joshua Stringer. A two-page spread is dedicated to each of them, depicting two to four images. Some spreads are completed with a comment on the process, written by the artist. \u201cBeing a prolific collage artist himself as well, Peeke\u2019s point of view on the topic provides an interesting perspective. Cogent when going through a brief history of collage and its relevance in contemporary art, he\u2019s even more interesting when he is commenting on the process.
