Cut Out for Collage<\/em> was published in July 2014 by Barcelona’s Index Book with concept and design by Federica Sala. It features work of 39 artists and includes both analogue and digital collage. Among the artists featured are Anthony Zinonos, Sarah Eisenlohr, and Sammy Slabbinck, as well as other, less familiar artists. The book’s three sections are Surreal, Geometric, and Post-Vintage, with the emphasis on images, rather than text.<\/p>\n Cory W. \u201cCut Out for Collage<\/em> doesn\u2019t rely on a theoretical text in order to justify the work presented. The book, like a good exhibition, lets the images dominate the dialogue. The writing that is included is brief and to the point. It includes a three-sentence ‘about this book’ introduction as well one to four sentence statements about each individual artist\u2019s work. These short statements give the reader just enough context to better understand each artists\u2019 intent and the collection as a whole.\u201d<\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\n
