“It is never easy to start, but it must be worth it for something”, says artist Fabian Giles. These collages are part of a collection of illustration works that were made at the beginning of the artist’s career in design and over time (more than 30 years to be precise). The collages were saved among the artist’s archives of the memories and nostalgia of those days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now they are part of this new series of experiments between various techniques and substrates such as newspaper, printed paper, acrylic and watercolor paint, acetate and paper waste. They are integrated to give shape to another way of working collage just in the middle of this time where Giles has taken up what was first a hobby to consider to an intrinsic part of Giles’ artistic work. Although it has never been exhibited as such, in the following months the works will be in physical format and not only in digital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
