Michael Ziobrowski says about this book: Some works were created in the same sitting and share distinct features: colour scheme, tape choice, some shared aesthetic. Some collages have no “family” and stand alone. I felt the desire to test myself with creating a collage in 10 minutes, as well as allowing myself to carry on with some pieces for up to an hour, and some others even being created simultaneously, alongside another piece. These are literal experiments with technique and style. A bit of self soothing came in to play at times, as creating art often does. This creative work has spawned the want and need to create further volumes. <\/p>\n The book was discussed in a news and notes item Kolaj<\/em> #9<\/a>. \nXperiments with Glue<\/em> began as an exercise in mindless experimenting with pre-cut magazine clippings, painted brown paper scraps and adhesive tapes. No rules, no thought out theme. Just the need to create, raw and adolescent. Sitting on the couch, at a coffee table, watching cinema with my girlfriend, provided just the right amount of distraction, to allow my mind to let go and not think to much about what I was actually piecing together.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"http:\/\/kolajmagazine.com\/books\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/michael-ziobrowski-son-of-maia.jpg\")
