The book also includes a collection of previously released artist interviews from those years, never before seen work in progress images, a new essay by Marta Staudinger (Latela Gallery), forward by Andy Jenkins (Girl Skateboards\/Element\/Bend Press), and a new conversational interview conducted by fellow collage artist Allan Bealy. He was featured in an Artist Portfolio in <em>Kolaj<\/em> #8 and in Collage Artist Trading Cards, Pack 1. &#8220;When starting a collage, I often set out with a very specific concept or goal in mind [or] it begins as playfully collecting images that speak to me and then putting them together to see what the visual conversation brings&#8230;I explore many themes, including dualism, injustice, modern life, the discarded past, devolution and the trappings of a society that\u2019s becoming less and less humanistic, a culture obsessed with new technology and driven to consume at all costs,&#8221; he said.
