Allan Bealy is a Canadian graphic designer and collagist, living in the sovereign state of Brooklyn with his wife and two sons. He has been active in publishing two arts magazines: Davinci<\/em> in Montreal in the mid-1970s and Benzene<\/em> in New York through the mid-1980s. He has had solo exhibitions in Montreal, New York and Sweden, participated in multiple group shows and has had two collections of his collages published: Mud Bath<\/em> by Black Scat Books in 2013 and Papercut<\/em> by Redfoxpress in 2015, as well as his self-published 35 Chairs<\/em>. Bealy spent 25 years of his life as an advertising art director and dedicates his current art practice to collage and mixed media projects. Bealy’s collage, Bright Tie<\/em>, was featured on the cover of Kolaj<\/em> #5<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
