Queen Elizabeth II turned 90 in 2016. As part of the celebrations in her honour, the Royal Collection Trust issued a collage book for children, The Birthday Crown<\/em>. The book pairs Davide Cali\u2019s words with collage artist Kate Slater. An illustrator by trade, Salter\u2019s collage and papercut work often reads like miniature theatre sets in part because they are. She creates and photographs three-dimensional scenes out of cut-outs to produce the images.<\/p>\n
