Scissor Sisters Collage Collective (SSCC)Newport, South Wales, United Kingdom HISTORYScissor Sisters Collage Collective (SSCC) was founded in May 2025 by analogue collage artist Sarah Merton. A feminist punk librarian and passionate advocate for collage, Merton embraced a DIY philosophy to build a creative community after finding no existing cut-and-paste collective in Wales. MISSIONSSCC champions collage and the humble art of cutting and sticking in a screen-saturated society. Through free monthly “cut-ups,” the collective brings together emerging and experienced collagists and paper artists, building connections and grassroots ties among practitioners across Wales. ![]() 11.69″x16.54″; analogue collage; 2026.
