Samuel Eller holds a Master’s degree in Contemporary Cultural Studies. He is a designer and a professor who teaches courses in design, fashion design and advertising, and propaganda at Universidade FUMEC in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. He is the editor of the magazine, Traça de Collagem Contemporânea. His scholarly work investigated the strange and uncanny in design, the uncanny of Freud, Shkolvski’s concept of strangeness, and Didi-Huberman’s “splitting to see”. His current work includes visual poetry and process poetry, contemporary collage, and experimental design. He lives in São José da Lapa, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
