COLLAGE ON VIEW

Seeds XI

at Westobou Gallery in Augusta, Georgia, USA
7 November-20 December 2025

“Seeds” is Westobou Gallery’s annual juried exhibition of small works priced at $300 or less. Each year, a new juror selects 10-12 artists to show their work at the gallery from November through December. To keep the selections fresh and diverse, the previous juror selects the next juror. For “Seeds XI”, AP Faust transitions from participating artist to curator, selecting a group of artists whose work engages with the spirit of collage, intentionally or not. While some pieces are traditional cut-and-paste collages, others—textiles, paintings, cyanotype and more—embody collage principles through fragmentation, layering, tactility, and narrative assembly.

This approach is an effort to dissolve boundaries between various mediums and their practitioners, highlighting the artists’ manipulation of materials and their efforts to join disparate elements into cohesive visual statements across a variety of genres and approaches to art making.

The exhibition features work by twelve artists.
