Courtesy of the artist.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To build &#8220;Radical Reimaginings&#8221;, the curators invited artists who use collage in their practice to put forward a work of art that offers a visual narrative that speaks to our time. \u201cWe asked artists to reflect upon the unprecedented change unfolding in 2020 as we adapt to life during a global pandemic and as we wrestle with long ignored racial and social inequities, the murder of Black people in the United States by law enforcement in particular. In addition to an artwork, we asked them to provide a statement of what they wanted to reimagine,\u201d wrote Kadour in the publication\u2019s introductory essay. Forty artists from nine countries and multiple Indigenous peoples\u2014Salish-Kootenai\/M\u00e9tis-Cree\/Sho-Ban, Tlingit\/Nisga\u2019a, Oglala\/Lakota, and Seneca Nation\u2014offer a variety of perspectives.
