The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts Awards Curatorial Fellowship to Ric Kasini Kadour and Southern Vermont Arts Center<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts<\/a> has awarded Ric Kasini Kadour<\/a> a Curatorial Research Fellowship in partnership with the Southern Vermont Arts Center<\/a>. How can artists pick up the unfinished work of history and contribute to social discourse? What can arts organizations do to offer viewers the opportunity to experience and understand the multiple histories that inform contemporary life? Can we elevate the experiences of indigenous people and people of color so that they are heard and respected? What role must museums play in this work? These questions undergird the research Kadour will undertake over the next two years, as he prepares a show at SVAC\u2019s Wilson Museum to open in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Launched in 2008, the Curatorial Fellowships<\/a> program of The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts aims to encourage curatorial research leading to new scholarship in the field of contemporary art.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
