“We both work with found objects, paper, and printed materials that we have been collecting for decades. It is not uncommon for us to run into each other at the flea market. Our way of thinking is similar in how we approach found items. We both approach the material in a Dadaist manner and run everything
through a mental meat grinder.” –Susanna Lakner<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inge Koch enjoys cutting out parts and elements from city and country maps, old found photographs, and pages from books. She then layers the pages together in various ways and creates series of three-dimensional collages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Susanna Lakner works with cityscapes and the people within them, exploring layers of time, mixes times and places into one another. Using classic analog collages, she creates a kind of simultaneity of time and space, which she refers as a “universal space”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
