Carlos Quinto Kemm’s \u201cFor Democracy\u2019s Sake\u201d consists of eight collage works born out of the chaos of the current political situation in the United States. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The artist writes about the work:<\/em>
As an artist, my journey has taken unexpected turns, revealing the profound impact that images can have in addressing societal issues. While I never set out to create political or social justice art, the realities of racial injustice and bigotry have infiltrated my creative process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It reflects my desire for a world free from hate and intolerance. The struggles we face today echo the past, and I remain hopeful that our democracy will uphold justice for all. I envision a future illuminated by the guiding light of enlightenment, reminiscent of the Statue of Liberty. May our collective prayers and dreams serve as lanterns, rising towards a brighter tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
