Artist Henry Reichhold’s photo montage exhibition, “Finding the Story”, looks at London’s iconic events and landmarks from a time based perspective. What makes central London so fascinating as a subject is that its mood and pace is always in a constant state of flux, driven by the weather, the time of the day, traffic and a wealth of other variables that are constantly transforming the scene. The iconic architecture creates the static backdrop for the dramas as the momentum of activity ebbs and flows through the city, sometimes calm then suddenly fast as the pace picks up or the weather takes a turn. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These images mark an approach to photography that goes beyond telling a story through instantaneous capture and moves towards “photo montage” to create a more comprehensive understanding of the subject. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
