Combining found photographic imagery with an imaginative approach to composition, Scotta transforms nudes, interiors, and landscapes into dreamlike worlds where scale, place, and reality become fluid. Courtesy of the artist.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI love taking an image that is completely ordinary and placing it somewhere it could never possibly belong,\u201d says Scotta. \u201cThe fun begins when the viewer recognizes something familiar, but then realizes that the world around it doesn\u2019t quite make sense.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Created between 2020 and 2026, the collages reflect six years of experimentation and Scotta\u2019s longstanding interests in art, fashion, architecture, and visual storytelling.
