She visited <a href=\"http:\/\/ny.voltashow.com\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\">VOLTA NY<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thearmoryshow.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Armory Show<\/a>, and the <a href=\"http:\/\/independentnewyork.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Independent Art Fair<\/a> and brought us back a report on the fairs&#8217; collage offerings.<\/p>\n<p>In\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/kolajmagazine.com\/content\/issues\/issue-8\" target=\"_blank\">Issue Eight<\/a>, Beauchesne reports on work by Casey Ruble at Foley Gallery (VOLTA NY), Marianne Vitale at Zach Feuer (The Armory Show), and John Stezaker at The Approach (Independent Art Fair).<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The objects tried hard to outdo each other &#8211; to be bolder, prettier or just plain weirder in order to attract collectors looking for \u201ca bigger Blah Blah Blah\u201d (literally and figuratively) to complement the one that\u2019s already hanging in their living room.
