“Found Art: Kindred Spirits”: Bill Dean and Greg Hanson<\/p>\n

Bill Dean and Greg Hanson have been perfecting their sculptural art assemblages to become two of the most anticipated and revered assemblage artists in Portland.<\/p>\n

\"greg-hanson-untitled\"With time worn and distressed “found pieces”, Bill Dean appropriates. His current creations ask questions and tell stories, pulling the viewer in a visual conversation .<\/p>\n

In little orchestrations of “incongruous relationships”, Greg Hanson re-visions and enshrines paper, frames and objects rescued from the city dump two years ago as a selected participant in year\u00a0two\u00a0of the “Glean” project.<\/p>\n
