For seven years, she was a member of the artist operated 12&#215;16 Gallery. Liz then organized the mail art project &#8220;Playing with a Full Deck&#8221;, which ran for over three years and became the largest mail art collaboration specific to playing cards, with hundreds of artists participating from all over the world.<\/p>\n<p>With\u00a0<a title=\"http:\/\/www.gallery6pdx.com\/gallery6pdx.com\/about_Gallery_6_PDX.html\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gallery6pdx.com\/gallery6pdx.com\/about_Gallery_6_PDX.html\">Gallery 6 PDX<\/a>\u00a0in 2012, she launched an art gallery in the heart of Portland\u2019s developing Eastside with a spotlight on local and international collage, assemblage and mixed media.<\/p>\n<p>During her time as a gallery owner, she formed a supportive relationship with\u00a0<em>Kolaj Magazine\u00a0<\/em>in 2014, Liz was asked to join as a contributing writer.
