In Issue 12 of Kolaj Magazine<\/em>, Ric Kasini Kadour reviewed Nothing\/Forever<\/em>, a collage ‘zine by British collage artist Ewan Aparicio. Black & white on thick, saddle-stapled A5 paper, the 24-page ‘zine features the work of Aparicio and Eric Gallipo, Richard Rupenus, Jean-Baptiste L\u00e9v\u00eaque, Kate Rissiek, and Zen Zsigo.<\/p>\n

From Kadour’s review:<\/p>\n

The zine trips along through Zsigo\u2019s sliced up photographs of wildflowers, Rissiek\u2019s Burroughs-like machinations of an operating room, L\u00e9v\u00eaque\u2019s pixelated textures, and ends with Gallipo\u2019s blobs that appear to be collaged images of antique guns…Far from the polite collage of the Ramones or Sex Pistols, Aparicio\u2019s aesthetic is more inline with the apocalyptic feel of Gee Vaucher and Penny Rimbaud\u2019s work with Crass Records…Nothing\/Forever<\/em> feels like a well-curated mix tape.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
