LeBrie Rich made these collages at the Rauschenberg Residency<\/a> in Captiva, Florida in 2015. This artist residency was such a potent experience for her, that it has taken the last two years to process the experience and be ready to show this work. The collages are infused with Captiva both literally and figuratively. Rich inked up leaves of plants that grow on the property and printed them to use as collage papers. Their essence attempts to capture the dense richness that was five weeks of living and working on a tropical island with a cohort of artists that have become some of her dearest friends and collaborators.<\/p>\n
