Speakers will share ideas about the state of collage. And we will hear updates about special projects taking place during the festival.<\/p>\n<p>THURSDAY, JULY 12TH, 10:00AM<br \/>\n<strong>Welcome to Kolaj Fest New Orleans<\/strong><br \/>\nAt Thursday\u2019s Daily Collage Congress, we kick off Kolaj Fest New Orleans, learn why we are coming together and how the festival works: Orientation. JRC will introduce his festival-wide installation, <em>The Seaside Fleet (New Orleans)<\/em>, and organizers will explain Collage Tanzkarte, a game being played throughout the festival.<\/p>\n<p>FRIDAY, JULY 13TH, 10:00AM<br \/>\n<strong>Collage Troubles &amp; Triumphs <\/strong><br \/>\nFriday\u2019s meeting will begin with animations curated by Lisa Barcy. Ric Kasini Kadour will interview Alex Hood, Noah Tavlin, and Charles Wilkin about troubles &amp; triumphs in a session that we hope will open a dialogue about how to love and care for the medium.<\/p>\n<p>SATURDAY, JULY 14TH, 10:00AM<br \/>\n<strong>Uncollage: A New Word for a Particular Set of Collage Operations<\/strong><br \/>\nSaturday&#8217;s meeting will begin with animations curated by Lisa Barcy. Todd Bartel will present, &#8220;Uncollage: A New Word for a Particular Set of Collage Operations&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>SUNDAY, JULY 15TH, 10:00AM<br \/>\n<strong>Great Collage Swap<\/strong><br \/>\nAt Sunday\u2019s Daily Collage Congress, we will wrap up Collage Tanzkarte, a game being played throughout the festival and say goodbye with the Great Collage Swap. Part show-and-tell and part collage exchange, those who attended the festival are invited to contribute a collage and receive one in return. To participate, artists should deliver a collage to the Kolaj Fest Information Table before 10:15AM on Sunday and receive a number.
