As how-to books go, this one is pretty good. With a hundred airy pages of instructions and delightful, thoughtful illustrations, If You Can Cut, You Can Collage<\/em> by Hollie Chastain is an efficient and economical course in the basics of collage. The main thrust of the book is three sections–materials, techniques, and composition–followed by a collection of exercises and twelve sheets of pretty paper that can be easily torn from the book and used.
