He is a designer and a professor who teaches courses in design, fashion design and advertising, and propaganda at Universidade FUMEC in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. He is the editor of the magazine, <em>Tra\u00e7a de Collagem Contempor\u00e2nea<\/em>. His scholarly work investigated the strange and uncanny in design, the uncanny of Freud, Shkolvski\u2019s concept of strangeness, and Didi-Huberman\u2019s \u201csplitting to see\u201d. His current work includes visual poetry and process poetry, contemporary collage, and experimental design. He lives in S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 da Lapa, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
