Len Davis’ “A Thousand Words” series explores the interplay between the figurative and literal term consisting of 100 8″x5″ collages incorporating drawings of peoples\u2019 faces executed on text-filled newsprint pages. When looking at a person\u2019s facial expression, you can tell how they\u2019re feeling at that moment whereas text, words, verbiage and recognizable text\/identity marks explains it for you. Either way, we\u2019re provided a mental image from both, which illustrates the fact that A Picture Is Worth “A Thousand Words\u201d…illustrated on A Thousand Words.<\/p>\n
