STATEMENT

My canvas is a vibrant stage, where life’s conversations burst into color and texture. I’m Glenyse Thompson, a Florida-based artist weaving stories of connection, whispering secrets with bold brushstrokes and laughing with rhythmic lines. Using inks, hand-drawn lines, and collage techniques my artistic threads stretch beyond the studio. Every day inspires me–the stolen glances across cafe tables, the quiet understanding in a shared smile, the symphony of voices weaving through bustling streets.

“We are nothing without each other,” I often say, and my art echoes that truth. Walls transform into tapestries, alive with the kaleidoscope of emotions that bind us. I paint the unspoken, the shared moments that make us human.

I want you to stop, to truly see the poetry in a fleeting moment. To hear the laughter in brushstrokes, the whispered trust in textured layers. Because, in the end, we’re all weavers in this tapestry of life, and every thread–-every interaction-–matters.
