STATEMENT

Katinka’s collages often depict strange and absurd illustrations because a collage doesn’t have to resemble reality. The true meaning of a collage remains obscured and doesn’t have to be put into words. She creates her collages using existing images from magazines, attracted by texture and colour. She also use tape, stamps, scissors and glue. The finishing touch is digital. Katinka’s favourite subjects are travelling, culture, nature and past.
