STATEMENT
I am a multidisciplinary collage artist exploring identity, memory, and the layered experiences of Black life. Using paper, fabric, photos, paint, and resin, I create textured works that reflect personal and collective histories within the African diaspora. Rooted in my experiences as a Black woman, my art reclaims discarded materials to reimagine narratives of resilience and transformation. Influenced by diasporic culture, literature, and music, I merge abstraction and representation to celebrate complexity and beauty. Through my work, I seek to inspire dialogue, challenge assumptions, and create space for healing and reflection.
