STATEMENT

My works focus on human melancholy as seen through a feminine lens. I understand melancholy as a necessary state of mind to know ourselves better and reach higher levels of emotional stimulation. Melancholy is an undefined state. I think it has to do with our more unconscious, purer, more natural, more unpredictable side. Let’s ask ourselves how we experience melancholy and we can associate it with different moments and experiences, surely different from each other. Melancholy is the chaos and calm of our emotions. I want to present this emotion.

BIO

In 2010, I finished my degree studies in Plastic Arts, specializing in Garden and Landscape Design. My interest in collage was piqued while I was studying art history and concepts. It was a way to visually design the garden landscapes and my project ideas. Little by little, collage became my passion and recently, since my move to Turin, my career focus is on reflection and analysis through analogue collage. Since 2017, I have participated in group exhibitions, publications and collaborations with various creative projects in Spain and Italy.
