STATEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charlie\u2019s most frequent product is collage on wood panel coated in resin. He also provides collage imagery for Wake the Zine<\/em> (risograph periodical about arts and music in Galveston, Texas).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When he was a child, his first art class involved cutting out pictures from magazines and drawing to “complete the picture”. At the time it seemed ridiculous to him. How was he to draw a photo realistic image with crayons??<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twenty years later, he first observes the difference between today’s magazines and the colors\/perspective of an old Life Magazine<\/em>. This led him to realize he might be able to frame old images in an attractive way to draw attention to them for today\u2019s viewer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charlie Don’t is a failed poet, failed painter, cinema enthusiast, resolute musician, electronics tinkerer, publisher, and determined collage artist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
